Forest Swords will helm the next edition of !K7‘s esteemed DJ-Kicks series.

The new compilation continues a stellar run from Forest Swords, one that has seen him release acclaimed albums on Ninja Tune and Tri Angle, produce soundtrack and installation work, and remix Bjork. As is the case with much of the DJ-Kicks series, the 27-track compilation connects his past inspirations with current peers while touching on post-punk, pop, UK IDM, and modern, avant-garde electronics.

Ahead of the release, Forest Swords has shared a snippet of “Crow,” a new track exclusive to the series, which you can stream via the player above.
