Foul-Up Launches with Misantrop’s Limerence
The label has also shared a stream of the EP's closing track.
On December 2, Misantrop will inaugurate Foul-Up with his debut EP, Limerence.
The guiding concept for the label and the Misantrop project is that mistakes are part of the creative process and the finished product. The music is rooted in “rough social contexts, nurtured on those awkward moments of misapprehension where you half-hear something and make wrong assumptions that still feel so right in the moment.” With slight nods to classic house, electro, and UK garage, the label will attempt to “question the status quo without parading meaningless novelty.”
Limerance will be available digitally and on 12″ vinyl and ahead of the release, you can stream closing cut, “They Don’t Know,” in full below.
Foul-Up will also be hosting a launch party in Berlin on Friday, November 18 at Sameheads with Misantrop, Galaxian (live), Beastie Respond, and MEJLE.
