The UK house DJ/producer/weirdo known only as Gerry Read has just announced a brand-new 12″ which he’ll drop before the year is through, a two-track record for RAMP. Featuring the unwieldy titles “Been A Lot Of Places, Seen A Lot Of Faces” and, uh, “Beatin’ My Dick To The Beat,” the enigmatic artist’s new release is set to arrive on December 23 in a limited-edition vinyl pressing of 200. The record will be his fourth offering of 2013—following his solid “Crave” b/w “Enjoy A Day Out” and “U Got No God Damn Groove” b/w “Rubber Hands” 12″s for Fourth Wave, as well as the self-releasedSaucepan Jams CD. The organ-heavy a-side cut “Been A Lot Of Places, Seen A Lot Of Faces” can be streamed in full below, and pre-orders for Gerry Read’s new record can be made here.
