Bristol’s Guido was responsible a lot of cool things in 2010, in particular Anidea, his debut album and one of our favorite LPs of the year, and his XLR8Rpodcast. Two years later, the young producer is planning to make some more noise by launching a new label, State of Joy, whose first offering will be a new single from Guido himself. “Micro X” b/w “Vessel Dogs” is available for preview below, and will be released on January 23. Aside from that, Guido is also purportedly putting together a live show with a four-piece band, which means you could soon be seeing more elaborate versions of his bass-heavy creations on a stage near you.
