Mood Hut—an imprint we recently highlighted as part of our Labels We Love series— associate Tanner Matt (a.k.a. Hashman Deejay) has been on a steady rise since the Future Times outpost released his debut 12″, Tangerine, in January of this year. Now, the Vancouver artist is set to release his debut album, Sandopolis, via the DC-based imprint next month.

Hashman Deejay’s forthcoming LP is described by the label as “six tracks of that sweet spot dance, in the tradition of Virgo 4, Stickman Records, or the classic Italian acronym house labels like MBG and DFC,” and, serving as our first taste, album cut “Sandfish” falls in neatly with that description. Hashman Deejay’s chord-fueled “Sandfish” production can be streamed in full below, where we’ve also included the complete tracklist for Sandopolis, which is set to drop via Future Times in mid-November.
