The latest EP from Teengirl Fantasy has been made available to stream via a new, interactive web environment. Out on experimental imprint and visual art platform Break World, Thermal is said to route the “threads of previous deconstructed dancefloor works” released via labels like True Panther and R&S in some new directions, and features Korean R&B artist Hoody (??) and New York’s Lafawndah. In designing a multimedia listening experience, Teengirl Fantasy members Logan Takahashi and Nick Weiss paired up with digital agency 4REAL (the project of producer Slava and artist Analisa Teachworth) to create four “virtual worlds” corresponding with each track on the EP, which allow users to “actively engage with the audio and video” by manipulating camera angles, objects, and sound.
