Helena Hauff’s profile has only continued to grow since her 2015 XLR8R podcast. The German native, a former resident at Hamburg’s Golden Pudel, just recently debuted on the BBC Radio One’s Essential mix series and is a regular and many of Europe’s most established summer music events.

But she doesn’t really fit the mold of the modern-day electronic musician. Rarely does she self-promote of even attempt to communicate a release, never mind a gig, and you can’t even find her on any social media platform—barring a site managed by one of her many fans. Interviews aren’t too uncommon, but still there remains an aura around Hauff—a certain sense of intrigue an appeal stems from her wonderful skills as a DJ-producer and non-conformist nature. In her own words, “I just do the stuff that I wanna do and I don’t do the stuff that I don’t wanna do.” It’s really that simple.

So, it’s with great excitement that we announce her as our next expert in this series; and so we now want to invite your questions which will be then be sent on to Hauff. Whether it be DJing, production or anything else, all questions should be sent to [email protected] with “Helena Hauff” as the subject line. We’ll pass them along to Hauff who will then select her favorites and in May we’ll publish her answers.

Hauff will be performing alongside many of electronic music’s biggest names at this year’s Into The Valley event, taking place from June 20 to July 1 in Rummu, Estonia. More information and tickets can be found here. In addition to this, she will also be performing at Farr Festival alongside names including Craig Richards, Young Marco, and more.
