Coincidentally or not, the same day that XLR8R kicks off Bubblin’ Up Week 2013 with a feature on Bristol’s new generation of electronic producers, we also get word that one of those hotly tipped artists, Kowton, has a collaborative 12″ with Punch Drunk boss Peverelist on the way via Hessle Audio. “Raw Code” b/w “Junked” follows a string of live sets the pair have performed as part of Livity Sound, which is also the name of an imprint they collectively helm with fellow Bristolian Asusu, not to mention remix trades and other collaborative original productions under their own monikers.
