LA-based production and DJ academy IO Music has announced a partnership with Play Like A Girl—a women-powered collective that aims to create safe spaces for women and non-binary people to connect, create, and learn—to host a free introductory workshop into music production.

The workshop will focus on Ableton Live and is perfect for beginners and intermediates looking to dive into music production. 10 spots are available for the course, which runs from 1 p.m. to 330 p.m. on May 12.
