Longstanding sonic experimenter Kid606 has announced plans to release an album’s worth of ambient material via his own Tigerbeat6 imprint in the coming months. Over his career, the Venezuela-born producer has often been associated with hyperactive breakcore, glitch, and gabber-influenced fare, but his forthcoming Recollected Ambient Works Vol. 1: Bored of Excitement album is said to be inspired by the Berlin School of electronic music, taking cues from masters of atmospheric compositions such as Manuel Gottsching and Tangerine Dream.

Kid606’s seven-track Recollected Ambient Works Vol. 1: Bored of Excitement LP is currently scheduled to arrive on May 19; in the meantime the forthcoming record’s tracklist has been included below. (via Resident Advisor)
