Bristolian stepper Peverelist (pictured above) has shared previews of an upcoming remix 12″ for his Punch Drunk label. Slated for release this September, it revisits his seminal 2007 track “Roll with the Punches,” which cemented his reputation as one of the most idiosyncratic producers operating in the then-emergent dubstep scene. For a fresh twist, he has enlisted the help of regular collaborator and fellow Livity Sound member Kowton, who provides both “Linear” and “Dub” mixes. The two versions stay respectful of the original, with sparse drums and blown subs providing the framework, with the a-side also set to appear on an upcoming compilation from the label entitled Worth the Weight Vol 2 – From the Edge, although no further details are available as of yet.

“Roll with the Punches (Kowton Linear mix/Kowton Dub mix)” is set for release on September 8, and can be previewed below.
