New York-based producer, DJ, and, more recently, label head Lamin Fofana has announced plans to drop a new single next month through his own fledging Sci-Fi and Fantasy imprint. The somewhat bizarrely titled a-side, “Like White Lightning Up a Black Snake’s Ass,” is said to find its creator marrying “earthly percussion arrangements with pulsating, otherworldly textures,” while the even more strangely titled “%-} (Dizzy)”—an effort described as “an ice-cold 4am techno jam”—will serve as the b-side. The single is set to drop on April 2. In the meantime, the a-side effort is streaming below.
