LCD Soundsystem, Dawn of Midi, Flying Lotus to Headline III Points
The festival’s fourth edition will take place at Mana Wynwood in Miami on October 7-9.
III Points Music, Art, & Technology Festival has announced details surrounding the lineup for its fourth edition, set to take place October 7-9 in the Wynwood Arts District of Miami. Since its beginning in 2013, III Points has become a preeminent force in Miami’s boutique festival scene, offering attendees an alternative to glitzy Miami nightclubs and the confetti culture of South Beach. Calling itself a “living installation,” III Points’ 2016 edition promises plenty of performances by top-notch local and international talent, all alongside cutting-edge visual art, innovative technology, art gallery shows, lectures, and even a special virtual reality experience.
The lineup announcement for the weekend-long event has assured that this year’s III Points will be the biggest yet, even with heavyweights like Nicolas Jaar and DJ Tennis gracing the decks at past editions. The obvious draw is an exclusive set from LCD Soundsystem, who will be making their only Florida appearance of the year. Other notable acts include a DJ set from Flying Lotus, an electroacoustic performance from Dawn of Midi, as well as loads of house and techno from the likes of Dixon, Ben UFO, Fatima Yamaha, and more.
