Romanian-born tunesmith Cosmin TRG (a.k.a. Cosmin Nicolae) released his sophomore LP Gordian back in April via 50Weapons, and now, the ever-prolific Dutch producer Legowelt (pictured above) has been tapped to rework album closer “Terminus Abrupt” for a coinciding 12″ in 50Weapons’ remix series. Intended to “highlight the DJ aspects” of Nicolae’s record, Legowelt’s offering fleshes out dance-friendly cues from the original version while embossing it with his own synth quirks. Miles Whittaker—known as Miles, MLZ, and half of Demdike Stare—handles the second remix of the 12″, with his unearthly, dub-techno take on “Noise Code.” Set to drop on November 15, the release’s artwork and tracklist can be viewed below.
