Listen to the Latest L-VIS 1990 EP, ‘System Preferences’
Released October 23 via Ultramajic under the alias, Dance System.
Co-founder and head of the UK label Night Slugs, James Connolly (aka L-Vis 1990) has most recently teamed up with Jimmy Edgar’s Ultramajic imprint to put out his latest EP, System Preferences. Releasing under his Dance System moniker, the style strays from what one would expect off an L-Vis 1990 track and delves into a radically futuristic, bare bones sound that hints towards a connection with underground Chicago House scene. The music keeps in line with Ultramajic’s elastic and boisterous aesthetic while the label has acted as a vehicle for Connolly to explore new sonic territory and venture down new paths in his multifaceted musical career.
