Upstart Vancouver producer Lnrdcroy (given name Leon Campbell) is set to debut on Firecracker sublabel Unthank next month with the first of two anticipated EPs. Campbell’s inaugural solo effort arrived last year in the form of a cassette long-player for 1080p, and was subsequently picked up for a vinyl reissue by Firecracker. However, apart from a contribution to local imprint Pacific Rhythm’s various-artist EP and a couple of split 12″s, Campbell has largely kept quiet until now. His forthcoming 10″ comprises three new characteristically diffuse cuts and is expected to arrive in May; previews of the EP can be streamed below. (via Juno Plus)
