Locked Groove has revealed plans to add another effort to his already impressive 2014 run (which has included records for We Play House as well as his own eponymous label) with the forthcoming Thesseus EP, which will mark the Berlin-based producer’s debut on Permanent Vacation. The three-track effort is said to find the former XLR8R podcast contributor “balancing ethereal house and techno,” with the record’s title track taking shape as “a stretched-out, Detroit-infused tune with hypnotic stabs… [and] a strong and moody bassline,” while b-side, “Meditations in an Emergency” is said to be “one of those tunes you put on at the end of the night.” In addition to the two new original tracks from Locked Groove, Italian producer Clockwork has also been brought in to close out the EP with a remix of “Meditations in an Emergency.”

Set for release on September 26 via Permanent Vacation, the artwork and tracklist for Locked Groove’s upcoming Thesseus EP are included below.
