A standout from Luke Vibert‘s acid-laced Ridmik LP (released last week via Hypercolour), the swinging “Acage” has recieved a video treatment. One of the record’s funkier efforts, the low-swung bass and lazy chords of “Acage” are accompanied by entrancing bits of augmented reality. Giant flocks of birds are manipulated into ever-changing shapes, and then used to turn the lines between telephone poles into increasingly twisted patterns throughout the piece.
