Mute sub-label Liberation Technologies has a history of trading in undefinable dancefloor tropes, with signees such as Powell, Container, and Laurel Halo. Now Lukid, a producer and sound designer affiliated with Actress’ Werk Discs label and own Glum imprint, has shared details of a fresh EP for the London-based outpost, which is due out later this month. Crawlers will reportedly deliver “lo-fi, danceable electronics that elude genre,” and follows from Lukid’s 2012 full-length Lonely at the Top. Ahead of its arrival on September 29, the London-based artist has shared a video for the EP’s lead track, “Nine,” a mutant combination of grime synths (which Evian Christ sampled on his recent Waterfall EP) and overdriven, industrial drums. Directed by Nic Hamilton, the video for “Nine” can be watched below, where we’ve also included the record’s tracklist.
A1. Nine
A2. La Cucaracha
B1. The Brick Burner
B2. Born In Bosnia
