Max D (pictured above) and Hashman Deejay have been lined up to inaugurate newly formed imprint Falstaff187. While streams from the forthcoming “Shoegaze” b/w “Samba” single first surfaced back in September (accompanied by an endorsement from Berceuse Heroique’s label chief), very little information has been shared around either the label or this initial outing in the months since. Unsurprisingly however, the two tracks on offer align with the spaced-out, cosmic house for which both producers are known; Future Times co-head and recent XLR8Rpodcast contributor Andrew Field-Pickering (a.k.a. Max D, or Maxmillion Dunbar) takes the helm on the record’s a-side, while Mood Hut fixture and Aquarian Foundation member Hashman Deejay rounds out the release.
