Amidst a revival of the sounds Marc and Scott Kinchen (better known as MK and Scottie Deep) helped cement as part of the ’90s NY house and garage scene, the brotherly duo has decided to form a new imprint by the name of Say Ahh!. In a recent chat with Resident Advisor, Scott Kinchen laid out the plans for the label, which already has releases scheduled from Si’ke DJs, Angus Jefford, Plastic Co., Oli Furness, Jamie Trench, 4th Measure Men, and, of course, the label heads themselves. According to Scott, Say Ahh! will be focused on “purely house and deep house,” and added that “every release will be available on vinyl with at least two vinyl exclusive mixes, [and] with super limited edition colored vinyl on certain releases as well.” The imprint’s first release comes in the form of a four-track record, Safe House, from UK duo the Si’Ke DJs, which is slated to hit the streets December 6.
