Two of Scotland’s heaviest hitters, Neil Landstrumm (pictured left) and JD Twitch (pictured right), have announced the formation of a new collaborative project they’re calling Doubleheart. Both producers are veterans at this point, with Landstrumm’s discography including over a decade of releases for the likes of Peacefrog, Planet Mu, and Tresor, while Twitch has made his reputation as one of the men behind Glasgow’s legendary Optimo club night. Although the pair are said to have been collaborating on a weekly basis since 2010, there’s only one single, “Salsa” b/w “Ache,” slated for release so far. Unfortunately no audio has made it’s way out yet, but Doubleheart’s debut single is set to hit the streets November 27 via Instra:mental’s NonPlus+ imprint. (via FACT)
