Novation Releases Bass Station II Firmware Update Allowing Paraphonic Mode
Novation is also giving away a limited-edition Bass Station II.
To celebrate 25 years of the Bass Station, Novation has released the Bass Station II v2.5 firmware update and is giving away a Bass Station II 25th Anniversary Edition—one of only five units off the production line.
The new firmware update adds some of the Bass Station user community’s most requested features, including paraphonic mode, which allows for seperate control of the pitches of each of the two Oscillators; filter tracking, which gives the filter variable keyboard tracking; microtuning, which allows you to control the frequency triggered by each key press; envelope retriggering, which makes it possible to configure your envelopes to retrigger once the decay stage has ended; oscillator error, a feature that introduces a small and adjustable random detune on each note-on event; and two new Soundpacks: Silver and Sinevibes.
You can download the firmware update from the Novation Components manager.
