London-via-Barcelona producer Oriol will see the release of his first single on the venerable Planet Mu label this July, featuring remixes from FaltyDL and Jake Slazenger (a.k.a. µ-Ziq, a.k.a. Planet Mu label head Mike Paradinas). With a lush, tropical sound that recalls Aril Brikha and Recloose as much as Herbie Hancock and old broken-beat, the Coconut Coast EP is sure to gain the attention of tech-heads before the release of Oriol’s full-length debut a bit later in the summer.
