German imprints Permanent Vacation and Uncanny Valley have come together on a joint release due out later this month. The Munich-Dresden exchange which has resulted in the Uncanny Vacation EP marks the first official collaboration between the two labels, and recruits affiliates from their respective rosters. Electro veterans DMX Krew and Sandrow M stand in for Uncanny Valley on the record’s a-side, while the flip finds Jacob Korn (an alumnus of both outlets) and Dutch producer Drvg Cvltvre closing out the proceedings. Release art—designed as a tribute to ’90s adventure video games—is supplied by Alexander Dorn (a.k.a. Cedit 00).
Uncanny Vacation will see a digital release via Bandcamp on November 21, with a vinyl run to follow starting on November 24. Until then, clips for all four tracks are available to preview below.
