Bristolian DJ/producer and Tectonic label boss Pinch has shared the details of an upcoming 12″ for his imprint, a record featuring two collaborative tracks with increasingly busy Londoner Mumdance. Set to drop on February 24, “Turbo Mitzi” b/w “Whiplash” will be Tectonic’s first release of 2014, with the a-side of the 12″ said to “evoke the cold rush of a proto-jungle dancefloor circa 1992/93” and a “tough, uncompromising, and raging… breakneck rhythm” filling out the flip. Both of the new productions from Pinch and Mumdance—who, incidentally, has his own solo 12″ on the way next week via Unknown to the Unknown—can be previewed ahead of their release, below.
