On August 19, Kim Ann Foxman will return to her own Firehouse Recordings with It’s You That Drives Me Wild, her latest EP.

Foxman launched Firehouse Recordings two years ago in conjunction with The Vinyl Factory and has released sporadically on the label since, as well as releasing music from like-minded friends. The label was directly influenced by her New York residence, an old firehouse building, where her studio is also situated. Although quiet on the production front recently, It’s You That Drives Me Wild realigns Foxman’s vision as a producer in a welcome return to form.

Featuring three originals and a remix from Maya Jane Coles, the EP fuses rolling grooves with Foxman’s sultry vocals is a swirling conclusion of pure house energy.
