Premiere: Hear a Devastating Techno Cut From Kwartz
'Distorted Reality' will launch the Eternal Damnation label next month.
Next month, Hypah will launch his new label, Eternal Damnation, with a five-track EP from Kwartz titled Distorted Reality.
Kwartz’ latest, which follows recent outings on Clergy, Silex Device, and Pole Group Recordings, features two pulverizing originals and a set of remixes from VSK, Endlec, and label head, Hypah. Full of cavernous, rolling grooves and searing sound design, it’s no wonder the EP is already picking up heavy support from some of techno’s most in-demand artists, including Perc, Paula Temple, Bas Mooy, Ghost in the machine, Amotik, Rebekah, Eomac, Slam, Reflec, Takaaki Itoh, and JK Flesh, among others.
Distorted Reality is set to drop on vinyl on January 18, with the digital following on February 1. Ahead of those drops, Hypah has offered up a full stream of Kwartz’ “Distorted Reality Part Two,” a slice of scuffed-up psychedelic techno, available via the player below.
