Premiere: Hear a Mind-Bending Track From Eduardo De La Calle
The Spanish artist joins Mike Dehnert, Brendon Moeller, and Tobias. on the 'Oceans' VA.
Later this month, Anemone Recordings and The Oceanic Preservation Society will release the Oceans VA.
Featuring four beautifully composed soundscapes from Mike Dehnert, Brendon Moeller, Tobias., and Eduardo De La Calle, Oceans was compiled in order to raise awareness for the planet’s oceans, with all profits from the record being donated to The Oceanic Preservation Society (OPS)—the OPS look to expose complex global environmental issues and promote advocacy through the use of film, photography, social media, and collaboration. Musically, the tracks flow through a range of varied textures and moods, from the IDM-influenced electronics of Eduardo De La Calle’s “Meaningless Waterfalls” to the engulfing ambience of Brendon Moeller’s “Collector.”
Oceans is set to drop on October 26 and can be pre-ordered here, with Eduardo De La Calle’s “Meaningless Waterfalls” streaming in full via the player below.
