Premiere: Hear a New Track from Deardrums
The self-titled LP will drop on May 20 via 2MR.

Italian duo Deardrums is set to release its debut self-titled LP on May 20 via 2MR—the label headed up by Mike Simonetti (formerly of Italians Do It Better & Troubleman Unltd), Adam Gerrard and Mike Sniper (Captured Tracks/Omnian Music Group).
Deardrums is the new project of two analog-loving Italian artists: Bottin and Leo di Angilla.
With a healthy dose of hardware, the pair creates tribal infused rhythms and winding soundscapes, drawing from “prehispanic elements (think Mayan and Aztec, not latin) and pseudo-african rhythms.”
Nearly all of the sounds on Deardrums records are created from creatively tuning their collection of drum synthesizers, resulting in a singular and enticing sound.
Ahead of this week’s release, you can stream album cut “Winding Wires” in full via the player above.
