Software developers and makers of Reason, Propellerhead, have announced a collection of high-quality drum samples for use with their newest program, Record. The new sample bank, dubbed Record Drum Takes Vol. 1-3, features a host of studio session drummers playing a variety of music styles from “Alt Rock” to “Folk Rock” to “Indie,” complete with designated intro, verse, chorus, bridge, and breakdown sections broken up into multi-track format within the Record program. Although the drums are intended to aid those hoping to make pop and rock, we’re sure some of you will be able to find ways of using these for less, shall we say, straightforward purposes.
