Propellerhead—the company behind Reason, ReBirth, Figure and Take—has announced a new platform that will allow users to easily collaborate and work on music together. As reported by Resident Advisor, a user will sign up and create a track, or idea, using Propellerhead’s software and upload it to their servers. The upload can then be pulled by anyone, to add parts and re-upload for constant collaboration. The software’s API is available to other developers, so software outside the Propellerhead realm can get the same treatment.
