Resident Advisor‘s excellent Real Scenes series of mini-docs has so far examined the club and electronic music cultures of Bristol, Berlin, and Detroit. Unveiled today, its latest episode looks at the changing dance music scene in Paris. Compiling the thoughts of a wide range of Parisian producers, DJs, and promoters, the 20-minute documentary portrays the members of Paris’ current scene as catalysts for an evolving community bent on moving from the confines of traditional metropolitan locales to the more open—and often vacant—spaces of the surrounding suburbs.
