Green Language, the upcoming sophomore LP from Rustie, is set to arrive on Warp next week. As is the custom, a full stream has become available ahead of the record’s release, though Rustie has elected to make the process a bit more interactive, inviting listeners to play an online video game as they take in the Glasgow producer’s latest batch of neon-striped productions.
In the Green Language video game, players are tasked with discovering “golden monument landmarks” which will unlock new levels and new album tracks. Eventually, according to a press release, players are expected to “Jump up from the island of jungle ruins to the track ‘Up Down (ft. D Double E),’ go round in circles in the maze to the soundtrack of ‘Lost (ft. Redinho),’ then fly through the air with ‘Raptor’ to ultimately reach the pyramid.” Upon completing the game, players will be rewarded with a no-strings-attached full stream of Rustie’s upcoming 13-track LP, ahead of its official release on August 25.
