Ryan Elliott is back with a new EP on Ostgut Ton, titled Paul’s Horizon and out May 17. 

Since becoming a Berghain/Panorama Bar resident in 2010, Elliott, a Berlin-based Detroit native, has made a handful of weighty contributions to both the club its label arm, Ostgut Ton, including his EPs Rocksteady and Stepmode, the latest of which came in 2013. There’s also been his five-year anniversary mixtape and the label’s inaugural digital mix compilation, Panorama Bar 06. 

We’re told to that the EP falls between Berlin and Detroit, between house and techno, and between hypnotic repetition and unpredictability, revealing a subtle ear for groove and composition.
