SFX Entertainment has announced that it will no longer be auctioning off Beatport.

Earlier today, Resident Advisor broke the news that entertainment giant SFX will no longer be forced to auction off online electronic music specialist Beatport. After battling with bankruptcy through 2016, it was announced that the site would be put up for sale as part of SFX’s recovery plan; however, after having streamlined Beatport (getting rid of its editorial and distribution services), it is now worth being retained.
