Long out of print and increasingly hard to find, a series of collaborative 12″s by Donato Dozzy (pictured above) and Nuel will recieve a proper reissue from John Elliot’s Spectrum Spools imprint this March. Originally released in 2008 and 2009 via the now-defunct Aquaplano label, the pair of 12″s will be repackaged into one double-LP release entitled The Aquaplano Sessions. The eight-track collection is said to find Donato Dozzy & Nuel “returning to tribal rhythms and ambient textures to sketch out a much more heady, psychedelic form of techno” around the time when the genre was beginning to move past its minimal phase.
