Stream a New Album from Bay Area Producer Lavender
'Horizons Beneath the Surface' hit the shelves today via Jacktone Records.
Hailing from San Fransisco, the producer known as Lavender has today released his sophomore album titled Horizons Beneath the Surface via the leftfield, dark, and ambient-oriented Detroit label Jacktone Records. Following the release of his clandestine debut LP titled Mystique Youth, which SF Weekly named in its “Top 15 Bay Area Albums of 2015“ round-up, the producer’s cinematic form and equivocal sound continues to impress. Easily compared to “the complex spontaneity of early Pink Floyd and the uncanny atmospherics of John Carpenter,” this album is a poignant and mechanical collection of tracks with far-reaching sonic scenarios.
