Last month, director and composer John Carpenter, who has created scores of iconic horror-movie soundtracks, divulged that he had a new album in the works for the Sacred Bones label. Lost Themes II builds on last year’s Lost Themes LP, and while neither record was created for the screen, epic LP cut “Angel’s Asylum” does a good job demonstrating the sort of aesthetic on which Carpenter has built his reputation. Stream the track in full below before Lost Themes II drops on April 15.
