The Friends of Friends debut of Chicago producer Different Sleep drops next week (April 22 to be exact), but before the upcoming Conflict EP sees its full release, its four dreamy cuts can now be streamed in full exclusively via XLR8R.

Tender soundscapes, slow-motion rhythms, and subtle melodic flourishes mark much of Conflict, a record which finds its young creator sounding as introspective as he does confident and composed. From the unhurried shuffle of the EP’s opening title track to chord-bathed cuts “Slow Things Down” and “Cold,” and on through bubbly closer “Damage,” Different Sleep gracefully leads listeners through the more tender ends of the beat world.
