Stream Snippets from Fred P’s Forthcoming Album
'6' is the second part in the New Yorker's FP-Oner series, due out May 27.
Fred Peterkin (a.k.a. Fred P) has shared snippets from his forthcoming album as FP-Oner, due out on Friday.
Peterkin dropped his first release as FP-Oner with Mule Musiq last Summer, and now returns to the Japanese imprint with the follow-up to that album. According to the label, it was produced all over the World, as he takes his studio with him wherever he goes. While the last FP-Oner LP, 5, leaned towards jazz-influenced deep house, this upcoming release “delves deeper into spiritual and meditative worlds,” taking a much more introspective perspective. It follows an essay he penned for our Real Talk series back in March, in which he shared his musings on the power music.
6 is scheduled for release on May 27. Pre-order it at Deejay.de, and stream snippets from the LP below.
