After initially striking out on his own last year with a single for Dan Snaith’s Jiaolong imprint, Junior Boys member Jeremy Greenspan has shared two new original tunes that will mark his return to the label in the coming weeks. The record’s a-side, “Drums&Drums&Drums,” is in fact a re-edit of the 1975 composition “Drums” by experimental electronic composer and performer Laurie Spiegel, an artist who Greenspan has noted as a major influence for him as a producer over the years. While there is no specific release date for the 12″ yet, you can stream both “Drums&Drums&Drums” and b-side “Sirius Shake” before the record drops sometime “soon,” below.
