Rob Orme, a prolific UK producer with releases on Well Rounded, Fortified Audio, and more under the moniker Submerse, is set to release a four-track effort this June on the newly revived R&S sub-label Apollo. Splitting his time between England and Tokyo, the 23-year-old Submerse (who we featured in our Bubblin’ column last year) professes a love for J-pop and 2-step that comes through on They Always Come Back, his first release of 2012. His past productions have featured various garage and bassline machinations, but this new EP promises “digital hip hop” and “glitchy electronica” in addition to his more dancefloor-oriented style. They Always Come Back is out on June 11 and the tracklist is below.
