TB Arthur is launching his own label this year, with the debutant release coming from himself—Psychedelic Relics, due out early next month.
Chicago’s TB Arthur first surfaced in 2014, via a series of represses of warehouse finds that he made during the ‘90s. Following on from those four EPs (plus another on Argot), he is is now launching his own label—(312). The first EP, Psychedelic Relics, is his first offering of totally new material. The four tracks were recorded in the lead up to his comeback shows at Berghain and smartbar (in his hometown of Chicago) last year, and are described by the producer as “100% modern shit”.
Psychedelic Relics will hit stores on May 2, and can be pre-ordered at Clone.nl. For a taste of what to expect, check out this recording of his from the smartbar gig last year (via Resident Advisor).
