Pulled from the outfit’s recent In a Dream LP for DFA, The Juan MacLean‘s “A Simple Design” single has received a video treatment. As the pop-flecked, synth-fueled track unrolls, Juan MacLean himself and vocalist Nancy Whang try their hand at a few art projects—pottery and painting, mostly—occasionally hiding behind their creations as the disco-indebted tune weaves through its different sections.
