Two People—an Australian duo made up of Phoebe Lou and Joey Clough—have announced their debut album, First Body, to be released via Terrible Records and Liberation Music on January 18, 2019.

To date, the duo have released a string of affecting pop singles on Liberation Music, with the first appearing back in 2016. According to the press release, First Body is “guided by bold visual cues, DIY principles, and emphasis on the empty space between notes as much as the notes themselves,” a statement back up by the sparse, cinematic first single, “In The Garden,” which can be streamed via the player below. The nine-track LP was self-recorded between 2016 and 2018 and later mixed by Rodaidh McDonald (The xx, Sampha King Krule).
