Taken from last year’s ambitous Motor: Nighttime World 3 LP (which you can still stream in full, here), Robert Hood‘s “Black Technician” will see a release as its own single backed with a pair of remixes from founding Underground Resistance member Mike Banks. While “Black Technician” gets a full side to itself, the record’s flip will hold two remixes on which Banks collaborates with a number of fellow Detroit sound sculptors—with Skurge and Ray 7 for the “UR Mad Mike Remix'” and then alongside Brooklyn/Detroit producer Waajeed for the “DirtTech UR Mix.” The “Black Technician” 12″ will see a release via Music Man on May 27.
