Having already submitted EPs this year for Berceuse Heroique and Delroy Edwards’ L.A. Club Resource, Oliver Vereker (known simply as Vereker, pictured above) will launch his Endangered Species label next week with a single from Renoir, his collaborative project with Skander. As Resident Advisor reports, the three-track Broken Tongue 7″ will offer a blend of “industrial, dark ambient and power electronics” when it arrives on November 11, and fittingly, the record’s title track reworks an original from long-running industrial group Zoviet France. (The label itself serves as a platform for “noise, techno, and industrial hybrids.”)
Further material from Vereker (as Restraint), Skander, and a full-length effort as Renoir are also reportedly in the works for release on the label, but until then, “Broken Tongue” has been made available to stream in full below, where the upcoming EP’s tracklist can also be found.
