After we posted “Messa (A-Moll)” by Aleph last month, the Russian producer has released a beachy, quasi-animated video for the tune. Director Chichirik crafted a video that is as unique as the production itself by drawing cartoonish faces on concrete formations among a foamy tide, so as to make them appear to be the source of the song’s choir vocals. To be sure, the strictly black-and-white tones, quick cuts, and the stern looks of the animated faces make the piece seem quite serious. “Messa (A-Moll)” is taken from Canadian imprint King Deluxe‘s free Year Two compilation, which you can download for free here.
