New Bot’Ox single “Overdrive” finds the duo mixing up hyperactive videogame synths with goth rock, crafting a song that ultimately sounds like a Euro take on the music you’d hear during the chase scene of an ’80s action flick. But can we talk about the video? The plot isn’t exactly clear, but it seems to be some sort of exposé on souped-up car culture, only it’s shot in Europe, so instead of Fast and the Furious-style muscle cars, everyone has a tricked-out hatchback clown car that probably gets 126 miles to the gallon. We hate to say it, but if you’re going to dork out on cars and try to be some kind of drag-racing badass, bigger is probably better. The “Overdrive” single will be released on June 7.
